K.M. Wood is a former lecturer in English at the University of California, Berkeley, where she received a doctorate in English specializing in the Renaissance and Shakespeare. Death by Revelation, Wood’s first novel, explores the ties between loss, fear, and revenge.

A student for many years in the martial arts, Wood grew up in West Los Angeles and lives in San Francisco.
